Tiffany Tanner, Owner
Senior Therapist
Chronic Pain Specialist
Certified Pilates Teacher through Stott Pilates & Polestar Pilates
Tiffany first became certified in Pilates whilst she was living overseas in 2004. She was originally trained in the BodyControl Pilates method and later became a certified Stott teacher. Not knowing any better Tiffany taught the fitness style, boot camp oriented, core training type of Pilates for 5 years. Upon returning back to the states in 2009 she found herself burnt out and dissatisfied. In fact, she really questioned as to whether she was helping clients or hurting them. Determined to discover and learn the rehabilitative roots the Pilates method was built on, Tiffany immersed herself in higher level learning and advanced courses in anatomy, fascia, posture, gait, biomechanics, restorative movement, physical therapy, manual therapy, breathing, evolution, embryonics, pelvic floor and a variety of other modalities. She also completed a third Pilates certification through Polestar Pilates. Her unique training and approach are on the forefront of inspiring change within our current, antiquated physical therapy and movement models with intentions to foster client participation, re-education, improved posture, balance, alignment as well as encourage beneficial movement choices.
